CCRT - new road race class.

It's not dirt bikes but the CCRT is due to start this year and will hopefully mark a return to genuine technological advancement... To say I'm excited is a massive understatement...

The potential is limitless... 2 stroke, 4 stroke, diesel, extra points for low emissions, focus on maximum power from minimum displacement, cvt's, direct injection, biofuels... Absolutely anything the teams can come up with that works for them with no bullshit restrictions imposed by manufacturers...

If it lasts beyond the first few seasons it could lead to some really exciting engine development.

Hell now we are talking..... MotoGP has decided to become production racing, which means anyone with a supercharged opposing piston engine has no place to race and we are subject to boring as batshit parade laps by the major makers.

Who knows there may be a cross over into MX racing and we will all be lusting on Z8 dirt bikes running on palm oil soon.
