TM - not sure but I thought I remember reading something like 63 HP from the factory Hondas in the day - but everything was so hush hush not sure about accuracy - that was the point where they started taking them backwards as they were so hard to ride.

RN500 was in the early 50s from all accounts, but I am sure Frosty will not be disappointed with the power output, my RM500 will rev out a bit which is something a lot of other open class bikes never want to do.

I am very happy I bought this bike it would have cost me the same or more to build it and I am to busy to be working in my shed at the moment I do enjoy building my bikes and will have to spend some big $$ this year especially on my mostly NOS pe400 I have to spend some time riding this year not just building that's why I bought a ready to ride bike.
