MAICOS at 1977 Grand National: Almost a clean sweep ...

Here's an alternate set of results, if dual freight trains Anton and Ron hadn't clipped.

(I like statistics!  And - no - I didn't prefer or ride Maicos in the day.)

So Maico really was the bike to have in '77.. they were not such a force in Qld.

KTM filled the first 3 spots in the 250 GP's in 77 and were the European privateers choice, the open class Maico were good in 77 as they were in most.
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

That's cool reading through those old programs, i see a few forum members raced that meeting.
Interesting to see Kiwi Peter Ploen won the Grand National way back in '71.. 41 years ago and he's still quick!
