Hi there Forum;

Just after a little help trying to track down a bike.
I have posted this message as a fovour for my father Col, who would love to see it back in his posession.
73/74 Hagon stroker yamaha 250 frame all original components, yamaha yz250c 76 motor. Extremely quick..

This bike was regrettably traded at fraser motorcycles in 1980, any help would be greatly appreciated.


Also looking for an original front wheel as seen in photo, i know they're out there.

 Hi Kris, We know the old sliders are out there,.. but where? I'm trying to find my old bikes but have had no luck The other option is to build a new one(replica)

 Like arrr has any body seen my old X Jimmy Wyman slider frame built by Geoff Coombes, fitted with the very fast Carey B33 X Debbo motor? last reported seen at Cowra circa 1974.

Antig Engineering build a classic sandracer which is a Hagon. I believe they bought Hagon out. You can buy it in kit form i think. They also do complete bikes .Weslake engines and spares etc. The classic is pre '75 maybe??

yes the classic is the old sandracer. pre 75 bike
i am going to see them in june 2012.the shop is in my wifes home town they know her well there

G'day Noel, hope all's well.
Nah that aint it, that's Colin Laws on a bike thats been in the family pretty much for ever, I think, it's not a real Hagon either, I hope I got that right?
Bloody thing goes alright though, he sent me to the cleaners at the last meeting last year.

Thanks for the response guys;
Noel; the images you posted are of Col on his 74 yamaha 250. The frame was built by Stan Clarke, and previously owned by Kevin Sullivan. There were originally two frames made, the other was for Ron Mcenzie and raced by Kevin Frazer in numerous national titles with a 125 Bultaco. The frame was originally designed for a 250 montesa.

On the search topic, I have spoken to a couple of guys on the track and know of another two of these frames (Hagon Stroker for yamaha) none of which are in a race ready condition but there none the less. Both owners saying 'they  are in the shed' Maybe Fraser knows? There are alot of sheds out there.
I'm sure you guys have alot of contacts and may know of someone riding one post 1980, NSW region.
I understand this is not going to be easy, with any help though I will be thankfull.

This is straight from the horses mouth.
Kevin Frazer rode Ron Mckenzies bike in 152 races with just 150 victory's, one crash & one engine failure.
That's how good both the bike & Kevin were.
Ron was the true gentleman of the sport, spotless white overall's at every meeting and my personal memorry of him was that he didn't like me it when I called him Mr Mckenzie.
A great bloke, his family still have the bike & KF would love to get his hands on it.
