Viper 2012 update
« on: March 01, 2012, 01:12:13 pm »
To all viper riders we are now a incorperated club with motorcycling victoria what this means is you now can get your MA licence through viper when you pay your cub membership.
All the new info club membership forms etc will be sent out within the next two weeks then fill em in and send back club membership cost will be $70.00 dollars yes i know it has gone up but you dont have to be a member of any outher club to get your MA licence now it can be done through viper.
We have been working hard to make this happen for many reasons so we can run our own events move forward and secure vipers future as many clubs now dont have time or the people to run viper events so we can now.
Please note that to retain your race number from last year have your membership paid by the 13 april this is not a demand set in concrete but for us who are organising all this for you the riders this is what we need to happen other wise your number becomes fair game for any that come along.
Committee members are
Simon Healy,  Michael Hughs,   Arno Franz, Michael Gibney , Jason Ladson
Please contact Simon Healy on 0408 650060 or Michael Hughs at    [email protected]  for any info  thanks Simon Healy

Keep up the good work!

Some questions - if you are already a member of another club, do you have to join the new VIPER club to be eligible for points? Some people will have already paid club memberships for 2012, while others may have long-standing loyalties to other clubs.

Will it simply be a case that these people will have to join two clubs to be eligible?

Yep you will have to be a financial member of VVMXC to be eligible for club points. That's no difference than in the past for most of us who have modern bikes, or close ties with local clubs. If all you do I the VVMXC sries then you no longer need to be a member of an ivited club, just VVMXC.
Cheers,
K
