Looking fantastic Jim.

What front wheel is fitted? I think the full width hub the same as the early scorpion is correct but the one in the photo looks like an early Husky?

It has the scorpion pegs and mounts which is really good as the originals are fixed pegs I think.

Please keep us up to date as I think they are one of the prettiest bikes of the period

i have the correct wheel just waiting for the spokes to arrive from bucannon they are in a box with the reco motor.
yes the front wheel is a husky one
the one in it atm is a yam its stopping the forks from hitting the ground

Dirt Track tyre so will it be at Canberra later this year?

Looks good Jim. I have a 4 speed gp in at a similar state of restoration I will post some pics when I get the fork tubes back from the hard chromers  regards Terry

Don`t paint them, they where originally zinc plated.

Never heard of zink plated fiberglass???????

any one have a rear break leaver the can lend me or send pics so i can repair mine as it is bent and broken just repairable i think

the seat is recovered but the cover came with the bike
new fiberglass sear base though
