Can't get no KX green
« on: February 21, 2012, 09:35:08 PM »
I have approached a whole bunch of powder coaters and none could get me a good enough green for my 89 KX125 frame, if you too have had this problem this was my solution...

Buy the powder yourself and get them to coat it for you cheaper  ;D

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Powder-Coating-Coat-Paint-KAWASAKI-GREEN-1LB-New-Virgin-Powder-Paint-/120830300757?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c220c1255

It looks a little washed out because of the flash but it is a perfect match to my new UFO plastics, 1lb did all these parts
and the frame.

I kept my original sub frame which was damaged but had good original sections that were VERY close to the new powder coat (the powder looked better)

Can anyone tell me where I can get Anchor Paints.
I've tried all the auto parts stores nearby and haven't had any luck.
