Obviously it is because CR500s are so gutless you need something with a bit more stick

Compared to an R1 any 500 chook chaser is going to be gutless  ;D

For years the factory engineers had struggled with frame design, they obviously had overlooked the S frame!

What the seller has overlooked is the R1 can make a fine off road motorcycle with the standard chassis.... also you can have the best lights at the Enduro..... actually bet most of the people here would struggle to keep up with this guy :-)

Wouldn't a Mach IV triple slotted in there be a better, more rideable  solution? just askin'

Proves how slack those overpaid engineers at Iwata HQ are, so easy anyone could have done it. Just leaves the question why ruin 2 good bikes to make one uber-shitter?

Yep it sure would and this is how to build one properly.... but before you rush off and build one Luke you might want to consider what clean triples are fetching ;)
