Does anyone have information about a kit that was available from Honda for the 75-76
CR250 Elsinore ? I have been told by some that it did not exist, yet there is reference to it in the Honda service manual. Reason for asking is my 75 cylinder has some odd stampings on the bottom and has a 36 carb inplace of the stock 34.

I had  a "GP" barrell and piston kit for my CR125M.  xtra ports i cylinder and slightly shorter piston skirt from memory. With trick pipe and DG head, bigger Mikuni it could run with CZ400 on a straight.

I've seen GP kits for the '74 elsinores but not the '75-76 but it's quite possible they were around. The '74 250 cylinder won't fit the 75-76 so maybe you do have a later GP kit...
