yes, yeppoon mx club is offering to include a vintage class on club race days. we will be changing the track a bit to suit the older bikes. gladstone mx club gets a good roll up of vintage at their meetings so hopefully we will have 2 places in cent qld to race. let me know if interested. first race meeting is 26 feb. gladstone is 19 feb.

What are they calling vintage ??  Anything and everything ?
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

"My inability to use emoticins in the right context is really getting me down :)
The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

trent, i will have 2 or 3 bikes there. so i will get you to jump on one, if you dont bring a bike. i want to get as many out on the track to create some interest.

Will the Yeppoon club let me ride my EML sidecar on the VMX track? We can't find a track near Moura to practice on. Maybe we can get a field of outfits from Brisbane to support an event.
You don't have to be, but it helps.

that would be cool to have a sidecar out there. there is not going to be a complete vmx track, we will be just going around some sections.
i reckon you should have a look at it sometime before carting your sidecar all the way to yeppoon. the track has 19 jumps and its tight so i dont know how suitable it would be.

Sounds like a lot of work on a 465  :o

Would it be downpipe friendly for the CR 125 ?

What surface is it-not the usual preset concrete is it? We need some nice loamy rides and some sandy ones too.

I will come out for a drive and. Check out the track. And the Gladstone track aswell. I hear there are some sandy sections at yeppoon.

Track is pretty hardpack but there are a few sandy sections in it. Jumpwise there is a few large singles and a stutter section that could be rolled but everything else on the track is pretty small and smooth. Im unsure which parts of the track will be cut out/changed for the vmx class but kane could probably clear that up.
