1975 RH250 Question.
« on: January 20, 2012, 03:44:05 pm »
Does anyone know what model Suzuki (Rm125S or RM250A) cables will work on the 1975 RH250? I am looking at getting Clutch, Throttle, Front & Rear Cables and I wanted to order the correct ones. I will more that likely use Magura 314 Throttle and Dog Leg Levers. Any and all help will be appreciated.

RM250A cables should work, the engine and wheels are very similar to the RH.

I'm not sure how adjustable the RM throttle cable is, but you may have to rejig it to suit that 314 throttle. I've used them on a couple of YZ's and have had to cut some of the sheath away to get the length right. Just a thought if you were looking to pay through the nose for a genuine cable.

I haven't gone that far but pretty sure I will get rm a as it's the closest to an rh. I will be using a Magura as well with a universal throttle cable.

Here's an interesting thing. I put a 34mm carb on my RM125M and found a 2005 YZ125 throttle cable is the perfect fit.
