Shed clean out.
« on: January 08, 2012, 09:44:28 pm »
Most of this stuff is going to the Goulburn Swap Meet next weekend, but I figured I'd offer it here first... If I still own it this time next week, it will end up on Ebay or as scrap.
All prices are ONO.

Yamaha stuff:

1. DT200R rear shock. Seems good, no visible rust on shaft. $40.

2. YZ125C swing arm. Rough. $10. Sold.

3. YZ125K stuff. Also have good radiators, rad shrouds, rough frame, good forks (new seals and black boots), triple clamps, an apparently good shock and some other bits and pieces. $100/lot, will seperate.

4. DT250A/B/C clutch cover and DT360A clutch cover. Should suit MX250A/B and MX250A respectively?
No apparent damage to either. $10 each.

4. XT250K 35mm forks, triples, extra top triple, and fuel cap. Minor/moderate rust between triples on fork legs, definitely usable. $20/lot.

5. Unknown pipe - FMF or ProCircuit - definitely 125, I think late steel-framed YZ125. $20.

6. IT200S disc brake front end. Wheel is in good condition, fairly good MT18 road legal knobby tyre.
Brakes were working fine when removed, new lever included.
Forks very good (only rust spot is in pic - between the triples), 99% sure I've fitted new seals to them.
$150/lot, will consider seperating.
SOLD

7. IT200L/N forks and triples (99% sure I have an upper triple too, if needed). Minor rust between triples, very clean otherwise. Probably need seals. $75/pair. SOLD

8. Twin leader front brake plate. Horizontal lug type. $70.
(No pic, sorry).

Kawasaki stuff.

9. KDX175 or KLX250 forks & triple clamps. Moderate rust between triples, otherwise good. Inc brake plate, cable and axle. $50/lot.
KLX rear brake pedal $5.
Front brake plate, $10 each.
Re-zinced KDX or KLX front axle. $10.
KDX175 rear brake plate w axle and adjusters. $10.
KDX175 clutch cover, seems in good condition. $10.
KDX175 muffler. $10.
Or take the lot for $70.

10. Plastic fuel tank. 95% sure its KX125A4... Make an offer. In untouched, original condition - will restore beautifully.SOLD

11. KDX200C/D parts. Frame has ADR compliance plate. $150/lot, inc rear wheel and brake (not pictured). Will seperate. Headlight sold.

12. Running 92 KX125. Starts easily and goes well. Rod & main bearings in excellent condition. Power valve all working properly. Needs fork seal(s) and tidy up. Swingarm bearings etc all good (some play in lower shock bush). Some new parts included, most of a spare bike included (spare bike is missing top end, rear wheel and lots of little stuff). $950 ono.

Lots more pics of it here:

13. 13. Honda XL250 stuff. Think it was from a 1975 model?! Front end is the same as XL250 motorsport, not so sure about swingarm. Forks are 35mm (same basic forks as CR250M, AFAIK), very minor rust. Shocks are pretty crap, but could probably be brought back cosmetically? $100/lot, will seperate.

In Yass, southern NSW.

Nathan. 04000 23847

I'm happy to post the smaller stuff at your expense. Pick up is fine too.

No worries Steve.  :) I was actually worried you'd be getting toey at my inaction...

John, It's not 80/81 - they're more like a smaller version of the KLX250 or KDX175 tanks.
I concluded it was probably a 78 tank by this photo: http://bikepics.com/pictures/2220630/ and what Google tells me.
78 250 were alloy, but 125 were plastic?

It's a 125A4 tank, they were plastic and the 250 alloy.
