CR 250M Pipe question
« on: December 19, 2011, 10:13:02 am »
Does anyone have any recommendations for a 73-74 Honda CR 250 pipe. I was thinking GMC from Australia or some sort of USA pipe, Circle F , DG .

Cheers

had a GMC one of my 250M - looks awesome and is repackable.  And this bike absolutely flew because of the work done by the rpevious owner - so would recommend a GMC pipe.  Nickel plated looks good also.

Thanks for the reply's  I have a circle F on another bike and yes it came in 3 bits. I organised that as it was for a non standard engine/ frame combination. It ended up very expensive as I had to pay someone to weld it together, then add the $80 freight. I didn't realize that they all come that way. Its a good pipe but I was looking for something local. GMC is the only local operator I know of. I'll check them out after chrissy.

Cheers

I run a DG pipe on my bike, solid construction & works very well.
Paid $280 all up, pipe shipped in one piece.
Plenty available on E-Bay USA
Have tried two circle F pipes both fell apart.

All depends who has one in stock in OZ.... GMC look nice and seem to perform, VMX unlimited (pro form) also. The DG probably has the best finish but i have heard mixed opinions re performance.

Aggree Proform pipes are good value and work well.
DG pipe compared to stock tames power delivery down and approves bottom end.
GMC pipes are also very good, hand made and strong
