YZB Colours
« on: December 14, 2011, 06:12:44 pm »
Gents - I am seeing two different "non US" colour schemes for the YZB white bikes?  Was the European scheme the same as Australian or were there, in fact, 2 white schemes?

DC - I thought that also - I can't load pictures yet coz Village photos has gone belly up and can't access photobucket from here but have seen two different "white" versions - one with a black Yamaha written above the red stripe and another with a white Yamaha written "inside" the red stripe.

The correct one has yamaha written in black above the red stripe... the one with the white writing in the decal is for the Canadian C models.

We're talking about the 250/400C, they were yellow in Aust. ('76 model)
All the 125C's were white in Aust. ('75 model)

I raced and owned a YZ250B back in the 70's and to the best of my recollection it was the same as the bottom picture, white with the tank strap. Great bike, sold it to a mate for $250.00. DOH!!!!
