Not sure but Wow $4950 and reserve not yet met  ???  That can't be right surely  ???

Plenty of bids though  ???

I wish those bidders were interested in mine. Looks damn cheap in comparison.

I wouldn't take eBay 'valuations' as gospel.
I was bidding on something and watched the price go up and up, then noticed that the other guy bidding had only bid on items from this one seller. I pulled out and the listing got cancelled just before it finished with the 'dummy' bidder in front because it was 'no longer available'.  ::)
Not saying it is like that in this case, but lots of interesting things going on out there.........

A DR400 sold a couple of weeks ago for $1200 and it needed a rebuild.
I listed mine that is pretty much ready to go and couldn't get more that $710.00. So it can stay in my shed for while longer.  ;D

I asked if he had a buy it now cash price and he didn't he said make an offer he said he had seen them sell for heaps but I think he is talking silly money you will have to do a full rebuild on it and there is a lot of money to spend on top of the price it sells for.

The thing is it is a 400z so they aren't a every day bike that comes up for sale I would be very happy if it sold for big money to know mine will be worth a lot when finished, but that is irrelevant to me anyway cause I won't be selling mine.

Tony, the fake bidders are a big problem there are also the semi genuine ones that will put say $10k on a $4k bike if they get it for what they are really prepared to pay they are happy and follow through if not they don't they just start new accounts all the time.

5 K for that  ???
Faded plastics , rusted bits & leaky fork seals would be only the start of a big list, I suspect.

I think he took them with his phone. If that bike's worth 5k my 400Z has to be worth 7k. Anybody interested?

I've got one thanks Michael. I was only joking mate...I couldn't ask 7k for a PE and still sleep at night :o. It's going to do some vinduro work next year.

Be great to see it going around a track yours is a good original mine was a bit tatty when I got it but nearly one hundred percent complete.

Now that I have the new old stock tank for mine and all the other bits I will get it done and put it in my lounge room.

I don't think you'd be to silly at $7k though by my counting there is only 3 known in Australia now.

Let me know when it is going to be ridden in a vinduro and I'll see if I can make it on one of my 400's been thinking of doing a interstate vinduro for a while, thanks Michael.

You could do a swap for the PE I will give you a xt and xr 500 :)

FFS  it's nothing special   same old  motor - frame - etc as the 1980 and 81
what you are paying  big $$$ for is nothing more than stickers - folding  gear and brake lever....it is basic follow on model . Oh and its a PE  400 Z  ???
Missing quite a few of the hard to obtain bits ... battery box - blinkers - mirror - tail light - kick stand - speedo -  front light assembly   all of which are like rocking horse shit.

I think this is bullshit too. I doesn't matter how many were sold that year they aren't anything special. It would have to be genuinely like brand new to be even close to being worth 5 grand.
Cheers, Grahame.
