Riders wanted to join Vic club
« on: December 07, 2011, 11:53:07 pm »
Hey Guy's,

Myself (President) and another ozvmx forum contributor (Secretary) have taken committee positions on the Mitchell Recreation Motorcycle Club; this club use to be called the Broadford Motorcycle Club, we only ride at Broadford on a monthly basis, and only on a recreational basis. We like to ride on a circuit that is machine & rider friendly; this I'm sure would be welcomed by you old farts  ;-)

We welcome any of you that would like to get involved; I know that a few of you are already members; with a more prominent 'vintage' crew, a track prepared to our liking is more likely.

Hi All,  this is the perfect club to join for those VMX guys who want rec ride their old sleds and get them setup for competition. It is also a great club for the family and kids to ride around in a friendly environment.  The club is MV registered so you can get your race licence if needed.  We are hoping to swap monthly rides between the MX and Natural Terrain track depending on weather conditions.  Hope to see a few of you there next year. Stevo17 (Secretary).

Why so negative, what would you recommend GDR sit back and watch the show.

Boys are doing a great job, form a club and build a vintage friendly track.

Am I missing something here? From where I sit it looks like John is doing something positive in getting the old Broadford Ch10 track up and running and it seems to me to be a logical follow on to have a club involved. Is there some reason for the sudden negativity?
