I love how everyone still quotes Dirt Bike's 123.75mph.   :D :D :D

Yep, it's ugly but man it would be a pretty efficient hillclimb or road race bike.  8)

I road raced my KX500 once with a slick on the back and a trials tyre on the front. It was still way quicker and more fun than the roadies I was racing against.......... even with me on board............  ::)

Piff mere amateur stuff , these rockets were used by some for road racing. He even has the flat slide electron which kills a bunch of top end on these big girls.
He should go with a good twin carb set up and a good top end down pipe.  TZ 350 rear wheel fits as well.  ;)
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

I can remember the late 80's early 90's a fellow regularly riding a 495 in NSW road racing, lowered he couls scrape the frame rails which impressed the hell out of me. Think he still ran the up pipe.

It's actually Manfield near Palmerston North where the first few final WSBK rounds were held, the motor is somewhere in the region off 630cc now & does really well at the boxing day street races in Wanganui
