Well, I some how managed to squeeze the Muster in to this years schedule, after having missed it last year. I took two of my bike down to Bethany, my stock 1976 TT500C and the much modified 1976 XT500C that I used for the 2009 and 2010 reliability trial seasons and rode in the resent Australian Historic MX titles.
The boys from the Keyneton MCC had done their normal great job, and were rewarded with the biggest turn out so far for the event, with 96 XT/TT500's on show. This would have to be a record for the most number of 500 Yamaha in the one place for at least 30 years. It was a bit of a pity that they didn't quite get to the magic 100 bikes. Yea, I could have taken down a couple more of mine, but I can only fit two bikes on my current trailer, plus I am still waiting for the SS spokes for my new dirt tracker and some zinc plating for my stock XT500C to come back from the platers. The bikes on show ranged from some good roughies, a lot of original every-day-rides through to some superb restorations. There were quite a few specials as well.
Anyway, here are a few pictures from the event;
I am already looking forward to next years muster, and with all things going to my new plan, I will have my new trailer finished and be able to take quite a few more of my 500 down for the day.
