« on: October 23, 2011, 09:47:49 am »
Am looking for a twin plug ignition coil for an 84 KX500A2.  Any leads would be most welcome.

There are some 4 cylinder road bikes that use 2 coils to fire the 4 plugs with wasted spark. Cant remember which one we used on our 84 but i remember getting the item from a MCS catalogue. Most bike shops will have a MCS catalogue.

A little bit more inmformation. DR650 with the twin plug head was the coil that was matched to the KX.

Thanks Bahnzy,  I will look into the DR650 coil.  Most road bikes have a battery supply to the coil so I am not sure how that would go. Thanks for the tip.
