The ride of my short solo carear
Not so much a heart clench but the little bugger had a piston clench almost every lap until I wised up and just poked along-then it would only lock up now and again :D
Ronny was so pleased to have it out on the track as was not too happy to give the trophy back, but he's a great sport and it's now on my kitchen table awaiting further instructions.
We might enter them-the Bantams- in the mini bike challenge at the Conondale Classic for a laugh.

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

That's good news Mick.  Glad the event went off without any plumbing work required  ::)

I'm sure you will eventually get instructions as to where to send that lovely trophy, EML.  I'd be happy to send the 2nd place one to you, but I couldn't stay for the presentation, so I don't know who has it.  At least you have something to look at in the meantime.
Gotta keep those old things going, maybe the sight of them last weekend will inspire more to appear, if only at demonstration pace.

Mike1948, if you are the tribsa man, you should have won on preparation alone-yours looked a treat, mine was just in for a laugh and to make up the numbers so we all got a race.
However, I know of a Red Hunter in a shed that will become a project and from what I have seen of the pre68 outfit class, will knock on the door at the next Nats :D

Totally agree with the supporting of the pre 60 class, afterall it does reflect the roots of scrambling in an early form. I have nearly finished my 500 m18 Ajs ( that got ur attention didn't it Dave T!!). Can anyone confirm the location for 2013 nats? Ta Nick

No such luck, EML, the Tribsa is a class machine, but not mine.  My ride is the HJH - first time out, fun to ride.  All I need is a smaller tank, to play around with the gearing a bit, and put the rear brake lever back the way it used to be.
Bring on the pre60s!
