Just got back from Day two... weather held off all day. No photos from me today unfortunately. Every body in good spirits and happy.. :)

Seemed to be plenty of photographers around including Ken so there should be many more photos to see.
Also noticed quite a few GoPros, so hopefully someone will post some track video. I think that you all will be impressed with the facility and the track if you get the chance to see it.

Next mission: to get the numbers for the Pre90 Champs in Tassie!!

Is it way too small? A bit of work with the heat gun or hot water could soften it enough to fit if it's close. Maybe some rubber friendly grease as well.

Not many tracks in the world could boast being "friendly" for all classes raced on one weekend but this one can. I raced a pre60 solo and an outfit -so that's about both ends of the scale!! and it had it all. The surface is the best I have raced on anywhere and it held together very well for the beating it got over the weekend. The mix over rolling terrain combined with clever use of that terrain to make cambered turns and then some steep climbs and not too scaring downhills mixed with enough neg camber stuff to make the quick guys have a second think- all fantastic stuff.
The club and their helpers ran it like a clock with no complaints from either side-riders or organisers. Just sorry I couldn't wait in the cold for the presentations, the old bones were seizing up.
Might be a good spot for next years pre85 Nats...........

A big thank you to everyone who organised and ran this event.
What a fantastic track, great layout perfect riding weather.

Met a few new faces and caught up with some old ones, well worth the trip

I thought that was one of the benefits of splitting the nats? The bikes with 4"s or less of suspension could ride on a track without the killer jumps.

The post 78 nats should be able to be held on any motocross track in Australia..... :)

Hi,
A very big thanks to all those who gave their time to put this great event on , to all the ladies, who are always there, to make it  happen, to all the Officials who made it all work , and those who could have ridden but gave up their ride to be marshalls, starters, crowd controls, flaggies and assistants and helpers,
Especially to Col Metcher, a big  job , well done .
