Back in the 70's my then wife and I went skiing in the High Sierras in California every opportunity we could. We stayed with relatives of hers in Bishop, California not too far from Mammouth Mountain. Anyway they were a Ski Doo sponsored racing family with a bunch of highly modified SkiDoos. Chuck the then California Champion Pro used to take me on these great rides to the powder snow up high in the mountains. It took me a few trips to get used to riding them fast, especially in the soft powder but once I got rid of my dirt bike habits and started to drive them sort of like you do a quad I got pretty good to the point that I went in a race at a big meeting at Mammouth Mountain. I cam second last in the half hour race but had a ball. It all came to an end for me when we seperated but my ex now lives up there and has her own Bombardier go fast snowmobile and still goes riding with the same folks. I agree with Worms, it's brilliant fun.
