Yep gotta keep it authentic. It is an enduro bike after all and that's what you find in the bush. The one under the Maico is even more challenging!
Cheers,

Picked up a 1968 250gp cappra roller with a pair of 33m crankcases 12months ago. Since then I have acquired new guards , a complete 23m lacrosse motor , a gearbox cluster from a 18m mx125  ,new betor shocks .  Hopefully with what I have I can build a solid engine . Would be nice to have it on the track next year.  Terry

Ya go to all that trouble and then mount the front plate with zip ties......arrrgghh......built by professionals he says?.....assembled by ....I wont say it, obviously no one does re-zincing where he lives either.....95% right, but the 5% lets it down.....harsh maybe, but its not hard to go the extra 5%.

The '78 VB360 I have here has the original front plate with the original decals, (& orignal 1978 purchase invoice) and the front plate is held on with zip ties through the moulded holes designed for them. If you have a look at the brochures you can see they are held on with zip ties. Maybe not the best design but technically correct.
