Claudio Castiglioni has passed away last night. He(and his brother) were responsible for the growth of Cagiva, the modernising of Ducati and the rebirth of MV Augusta. A true visionary, innovator and a charismatic passionate motorcyclist.

responsible for the growth of Cagiva, the modernising of Ducati and the rebirth of MV Augusta.

As well as the preservation of Husqvarna and the destruction of that brands once mighty distribution network in the US (which is why Cagiva bought Husky in the first place).

Godspeed Claudio.

Add to that Ducati's return to racing after years of forgetting about its roots.
