Ignition system
« on: August 15, 2011, 06:32:00 pm »
Slowly rebuilding a weslake godden. In the day it ran the total loss ignition system with the need to recharge a 6v battery with a car type coil. Usually housed the battery up front under the exhaust. Didn't mind the occassional burn when changing back then bt got more sooky in my old age.  Car type coil either resided on the motor splash guard or under the seat. What's available, reliable, easily supplied and at a reasonable cost? Also located a NEB clutch housing to attach to the amc gearbox. Is there anyone in oz to get plates from?

Hey Rosco
I just emailed you an Antig catalog, couldn't cut and paste  the page here, they list an ignition system for a Wes in fact they list brand new Wessie engines.
