My RM125M
« on: August 14, 2011, 06:59:21 pm »
OK, just thought I'd bore everyone with yet more pics of my RM125M. As regular visitors know I love the 75 RM125s. And pretty much all pre 78 Suzukis really. Sadly my budget only extends to having this one in the garage. I have been racing this RM125 for a few years now, although this year I haven't been able to make the time to get out for a race. Other than a few laps at CD8, it's been a non-vintage year for me. But that looks to be changing as I hope to hit the track at the upcoming HEAVEN rounds at Canberra and Canowindra. So to make sure the little buzzbomb was at her best I shouted her to a good tub and scrub, new plastics, and a fresh piston. Looking forward to taking it for a squirt again...

Nice RM Graeme, back in the day I had one of the first M's that came, then about 6 months later one of the first S's. I have alway's fancied I would get another one soon as I remember them as a great handling fun 125 to race.

Stan.

No it's actually a Vintage Iron pipe from the States. Not sure what they call them, Retro Rocket or something I think.

And yes, they are a great little bike to ride Stan. Though it's always weird getting off my modern bike onto it cos there is nothing to them...

Mate that looks bloody gorgeous.
Post it over in the 'sexy bikes' thread, where the old codgers are going goo-goo over ancient British lead weights and show them real BIKE PORN!!!

No, I'll probably stick with it, although I might retire it next year or the year after.

Bill, I like the 219 bike. I also really like that Dave Miller bike - did they copy off you?

Hehehe, it's funny, but I was just thinking about Rockley and whether many Canberra guys will go which led me to think about Canowindra and whether you'd be there for me to bash bars with. Given I haven't done very much practising at all lately I'll need to get some time on the bike before then cos I can't handle getting beat for a third year in a row...
