Yamaha YZ465 Swingarm
« on: August 04, 2011, 11:29:04 am »
Hi, can anyone tell me whether the 1980 YZ465H swingarm is identical to the 1981 YZ465H swingarm.  I know the swingarms are interchangable but are there are differences.  Part numbers are 3R5-22110-00-35 for the YZG and 4V4-22110-00-35 for the YZH.
I am restoring a YZH and want to keep the bike authentic.

To the best of my recollection, the 81 model had a larger diameter rear axle.Other than that they were the same.
