1979 works 125

Hi suzuki people a friend has a works 1979 suz 125 , His son was given the bike by Suzuki at the start of 79 . Its a bit hard to get much info out of him all he can tell me its not a rm . What he wants to know are these bikes worth much ? it still runs comes with a huge spares kit . regards Iain  Im trying to get photos to post .
Yamaha tragic ; dt1, rt1, dt2, rt2, dt2mx , rt2mx , mx250, mx360,sc500, 74dt125, yzx125, yzc250, yzc400, yzd250, yzd400, yzh250, yzh80 , dt100 , xr75 ko xr80 03 , it175 82 . Not a member of any club

I'd like to see the photos.. unless his name is Gaston Rahier i doubt that it's a works bike. There weren't any full works Suzuki's here back then other than the bike Gunter, Cutts and Mclachlan guest rode in '79.

Gents if it is a works bike what would the prefix be RH, RN ,or ?? . just so when I get a look I know what Im looking for .

It would be RA. Suzuki didn't just give them out.. and unless the rider won a world title they didn't get to keep them.

Suzuki did have works kits in the 80's which they fitted to the Suzuki Australia sponsored production bikes and consisted of forks, shock, cylinder, ignition and pipe but that stuff seems to have vanished since then.

Yep , if there was a RA125 around back then someone would have seen it at a title event and there would be pics from back then .

Nothing would surprise me anymore after the RH250 I have seen in a home slaughter shed (next to the chook/turkey pen) in outer rural Perth this weekend.Belonging to a exbike enthuasiast.   
I pray to God that he entrusts it to us next week.

foxy999 yes this is the Tassie bike from Smithton ,please post the photos on this thread regards Iain . Got the eng # RM125-61828 frame # RM125-50681 , JohnnyO tells me these # are 1977 numbers , so need to see some photos .
