Cr 250 pre 75 forks

Can some one tell me the outside fork tube dia, and the over all lenght of these forks

35mm. I could not tell you the length but they are supposedly the same as XL250. I have the measurement of those somewhere if it helps.

yes the 75 76 are longer and have a different top no nut like on the 73 74

The CR250M fork staunchions (chrome sliders) are longer by around 2". Both are 35mm as previously mentioned.
It's a good XL250 mod if you want more travel on the front. Everything is interchangeable between the CR250M (73-74) and the XL250 K0 (72-73) forks.

Only other obvious difference is the external speedo cable mount on the RHS.

Best person to ask for exact length is forum member Nathan S , as I just sold him a set of CR250M forks and I do believe he has XL bits as well to measure against.  ;D

I have my 73/74 250m in bits at the mo,the forks are still together, unladen(I.E. topped out) they are 820mm from top of fork cap to the bottom of the axle clamp :)
