I'm a habitual sceptic but the way technology is advancing, nothing would surprise me.
How much would an ink cartridge for that baby cost?

These have been around for a while now, the first ones used paper with glue on the back and a laser to make the shapes.
Really are only good for development and are used for one off concepts to test viability and customer acceptance.
Would be fun tho.
I have watched these running at trade shows and they are interesting but the new generation cnc coil spring makers are brilliant.

I couldn’t watch the video, ( bloody download quote is gone already for the month) but if it was about 3D printers then they were as common as mud at the engineering expo a few weeks back.
I can’t remember figures but I remember thinking they weren’t all that expensive, as in way less than a new bike.
They don’t produce anything structural but can produce parts for molds and evaluation etc.
