Well they were there in all their glory...Pre65 that is !!!
Beautiful camping weather with a frost free morning.Very light rain in the night, which sounded like small torpedo's on the trailer roof
Bikes and trailers arrived in plague proportions..filling up the uncropped paddock-I reckon they are all doing a last few practise runs leading up to the Nationals in 4 weeks.
About 10 pre65's started out the day mostly BSA's with a few Rickman,Matchless Metissa and all the Best of the British
Spotted the Alron 400 going through scrutineering so dropped in for a chat..great to see her out to do some skids at the pre65 day..
Great days riding with the testing track being dry and very soddin in a few places..
Was a big bore track with the Maico's thundering away up passed the dam and the little 250's screaming for more gears....
Three injuries put a dampner on the day, though all were in no need of a hospital.
Next up is
Wandering Mill Farm on the 28th this is the VMXWA big calender event with CCM's 40th birthday this year and the feature being Best of British.
I'm keen to see those beauties out again in the sunlight...cant wait..
cheers A
