The opening scenes of the first part appear to be earlier than 1980.

Yeah, maybe it's the same place.  They are still some of the best enduro vids I've seen.

I was wondering about the bikes looking a lot older than 1980. ?
Then in the second one at about 9/35 there,s a yellow water cooled little thingy that looks closer to 1986.

Yes, if you put them together I think the first clip is a kind of introduction, with the latter part being the actual 1980 coverage.

haha - good old G.E. at the 2:25 mark of Part 2..  I'm guessing he's returning the Watling Trophy (Most Improved Country) - Did we win the Watling in 1979??
