help if you can

hey fellas i came across this in my local paper today (sutherland shire leader)and have been compelled to get it out there any way i can



i dont know this kid but he is the same age as my son who lives to ride

A prosthetic leg that attaches to the foot peg like a cyclist uses and a thumb operated rear brake (ala Mick Doohan) should see him riding again.

Perhaps look at the "clake" if they still make them, it's a clutch and rear brake in one hand lever.

hey riders thanks for the interest and replys

i figure from the article the reason the prostetic leg is so expensive is that it will enable scott to really ride mx as safe as possible

a few years ago i came across a bloke riding at louee mx complex who was riding with one arm clearing all the jumps it was amazing

Years ago there was an ex U.S soldier that lost both legs. One above the knee and one below who rode a Sportster around the world to encourage amputees to live a full life.  He had a book signing at a run I attended in the States.  His name escapes me at the moment though.
