The cost will be bead blasting and Powder Coating so there is a variable there. I've had several done over the years and the size doesn't seem to have a big impact on the price - as one off work the powder coaters seem to 'round off' the quote. I would expect to pay around $200 (others might have a better more current idea).

I've always had the powder coating and bead blasting done by the same operator. The reason for this is that I understand that it is critical that there is no rust under the powder coating. I believe that even a day between blasting and powder coating runs the risk of surface rust under the powder coating. The quality of the powder coating and suitability for purpose are issues. I used a specialist Powder Coater at Dunhevard (St Mary's) - I don't know if he's still going ::).

Frame blasting cost me $50
Powder coating in Satin black another $50

turn around is usually about 2 weeks but for the money im in no rush.

IF you get it blasted go pick it up as soon as they do it and coat it in CRC - Zinc it undercoats in cold galv and is powdercoat freindly, no need to worry about the oxzidisation and when the top coat gets chipped you have that protective coating still on there.   ;)
