Seems like most of the forum members had too.
Anyway here goes.

If MA promoted motorcycle racing like the State of Origin we would all have something more exciting to watch on TV.  ;)

Rugby League is lazy football played by lazy footballers who are paid too much money to be lazy.. and just parade on the telly to justify their payments. What happened to playing 80 minutes as a player, even the big men had to in the past but the clubs got there way, changed the rules so they can sit on the bench and have a rest.
Rugby League..... the laziest game of all.  :o

Four controversial ref calls all going against the BLUES  ::).

It's hard to win when the Queenslanders have 14 players on the field. ::)

was it ever in doubt? Have followed Maroons threw good and bad like following Arsenal you win some you loose some.Thought the game was average ,certainly they hipe it up and Phil Gould and Companys commentary was a disgrace. (opps was that an origin moment). My boy has tickets for Origon 2 the weds after C/D as i fly home, blues look like they may get closer.
And  WTF  was the metro sexual singing - used to be hard boys mate against mate/state against state

Ref was the next generation version of the Grasshopper; NSW was robbed, imagine if that forward pass wasnt called? it shouldnt have been- thats a game changer right there.

These were clear cut 'mistakes'.

1/NSW/Doughan tackled mid air during high kick catch - no penalty.
2/ Thurston's strip - no penalty.
3/ Lying on Jenning purposely slowing the play the ball after break through with Maroons on the back foot, Jenning loses control of ball in the struggle to get up - no penalty, Maroons get procession (and 'off the hook' during a promising second half attacking raid - Qld 'dead on their feet' and NSW's speed is coming into play).
4/ (There was a fourth can't remember it right now ::) :P)

(5/ And the NSW 'forward pass' after the kick off - Absolute bullshit at this level of supposed professional refereeing :o).

All game changers, all controversial, all go Maroons way - 'something is rotten in the state of Denmark' methinks.

Thurston, Lockyer, Slatter and Queensland can always look good playing a high risk entertaining game when the 'run of the game'/refereeing goes so favourable and the opposition is run ragged in defense  ::).

It was a close game when it comes to the talent, the tactics and the 'ticker'. I hope the ref doesn't have the same negative impact in the next game ;).

(But Queensland is in such a shit hole with the govt selling off their assets and Mother Nature turning on them they probably need the morale boost more than NSW. ;D. Maybe it's a conspiracy ;) :D)
