Yes, remember how I towed him right along the driveway- about a kilometer before it would evan cough !It loaded up at any chance and when stripped down the ring was about 10thou thick !!!! Boagy complained as the bike had been fixed up in 1969 should have lasted a bit longer , he thought ? Remember  him coming from way out last after it loaded up on the line , to win around the very last corner
CZs are tough especialy if they can take Boagys special restoration and maintainance shedules : ] cheers Tim

The motor, frame and swingarm are about 2-3 weeks away for us (dad and I). The yellow tanker dad has will be a donor for the TP. Dad will do the majority of the resto which is good as he will get right into it 'cause he is keen! So we have got our holy grail.

Are you going to race your TP Tim?  I'll have a pre 65 Maico hopefully up next year so we've got to get the pre 65 250 class back and in good condition again.

Hi mate.About all i can think of at the moment is the correct kick starter. If you have a few spares and are wiling to share, that would be great.
We will have to get a steering stem made up for the shorter goose neck unless you can help there? Just received the correct tank from the US which i got considerably cheaper than recent tanks, which is a task in itself.
Cheers, Brad.

Anyway mine is almost all there just missing an ignition cover . Alloy  airbox being made- found a tank on ebay uk and snapped it up only a week after getting the bike !

Sounds good Tim, all you need now is a frame ::)

Dave , thats many more than I  thought were out there .. but I think Rod Mac and uncle Bernard have enough pre 65 250s between them to fill a gp grid !!!
Which bikes do you think will do the winning ? I would bet money on the Czech iron although a good Husky or 64 Challanger are just as quick but dont handle like the Zed ? Depends on who is twisting the throttle ....
