Yamaha front brakes experts

I have two Yamaha front ends in my KTM's , Now I have some new EBC shoes that seem wider than the shoes on the bikes plus they don't fit in the grove on the backing plate pin are there slightly different sizes of Yamaha shoes?
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

Sounds like you've got rear shoes from an early YZ125 (or any of a zillion others).
The pivot pin on the front brakes has a shoulder in the middle, and a matching groove in the shoes. This is to stop the shoes sliding off the pin.
The rears don’t have this groove.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
