Left the ranch at 6.20am, only spotted one big roo bouncing down the road, slowed down and lowered the spot lights and he head in the right direction-bush.
Got into Dandaloo Park at 7.36 (must have been speeding)
with fresh crisp air and a smooth track for a visual.
The pits were half full with campers and more day trippers to come,it looked like a promising pre75 turn out for the day ahead.
48 riders/bikes/outfits at the riders brief/gathering saw a fair bit of enthuasiasm for the SA Classic Nats in September and other club items on the social list.
Great to see extra people put there hand up for flag duty for the day and with that, the days racing started.
So comforting to see a field of Japanese,British with a spot or too for Huskies and CZ's cruising into line for scrutineering.Few wobbles and all tightened/tweeking and rechecked.You get that with old bikes

As usual its very nice too see Franks manicured straight get churned up with the power of cc's..The dirt turn over would have too one of the best things to see coming out the backend of a 4 stroke bike-on the pipe.
. Oh the Japanese Feature race was won by a Japanese bike
