Fuel tap - Vesco tank
« on: May 08, 2011, 01:08:14 pm »
I want to refit a Vesco 15l plastic tank to my '78 Husky 390AMX to get a longer fuel range for an enduro. Does anyone know where I can get a fuel tap and the require rubber bung from? Preferably in Aust.

All the Vescos i have seen have 2 bolt flange taps. If yours has the single hole for rubber bung then

Slob
malcom smith tanks have that groment type setup and pretty sure ive seen that setup on lawn mowers maybe even ride ons so might be worth going down to your local mower shop and asking them

I stand corrected, I found the tank (burried in a dark corner of the shed) and it is actually a Malcom Smith tank not a Vesco. I will give some of the mower joints a go.
