Gee, you would need a few pairs of goggles for that event, or radar.  :P

Thanks  :).

About 10 or 12 years ago I used to go practicing with Stefan Merriman (just before he went over to Europe).

We had a little practice track set up on a property at Tamborine, with a bit of fire road along the back fence which had a log about twice that diameter across it.

I'd come along tapped out in 4th, jump on the brakes, back to second, and bounce across the bloody log, then accelerate off again..

He'd come along tapped out in 4th and just bunny-hop the log (maybe 500-600mm diameter) while still flat out in 4th - and clear the log by at least 300mm!   :o

Used to piss me off.  I'd work my ring off to keep him in sight through the fast section up to that, then we'd get to the log and I wouldn't see him again till I pulled off and waited for him to catch me again...    :'(  Then I'd work my ring off for another half lap to keep him in sight until we got to that log again...  It was soul destroying some days...    ;D

Although I can take consolation from the memory of an A-Grade motocross rider on a YZ400F dicing with Stef on his trials bike round a very tight, rough MX track....

Lap after lap the A Grade MXer on his YZ400F would pull away on every straight, and lap after lap Stef on his no-seat-little-suspension trials bike would pass him again in the corners...   :o  ;D

Yer I was right behind Stephen Grant going down a fire road at Toonumbah.
One of those jungle trees [ about a foot square ] had fallen over across the track and he just hopped it flat out in 6th on his Rm80. :o
Me , I hit it screaming. :-[
You should remember that log It400 , you were there.
