or he could pal up with this bloke and do some slidz  8)

Nine times World Champion in Speedway and Long Track, Ivan Mauger OBE MBE will be back in the saddle for the Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza at Easter 2012.
Mauger will demonstrate several bikes during the Speedway Spectacular, including the Jawa bikes on which he achieved much of his success.
He will also ride two very famous machines formerly ridden by two-time Speedway World Champion Jack Young.
Young's 1951 World Championship-winning machine, the Mitchell JAP, will be in action along with the very rare AJW machine he rode for several seasons in Adelaide.
At the 2011 event the Speedway proved to be among the most popular features of the program that also showcases Motocross, Road Racing, Trials and Enduro, with a packed house at the picturesque Speedway circuit in the Broadford complex.
The 2012 Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza takes place at the State Motorcycle Complex in Broadford at Easter, 7-8 April.. 2012

Doesn't have the nickname "Poison" for nothing! Someone might offer you $500-800 for that pitiful old 2 valve jawa. Beware!

If your a keen earlybird-entries are open for HBBB

Eight-times Isle of Man TT winner Charlie Williams is coming Down Under for the Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza at the State Motorcycle Complex in Broadford at Easter 2012.
A native of the Cheshire district in northern England, Williams began his racing career with a short-lived stint as a sidecar passenger in 1969.

“I gave that away after four races – that was enough,” Williams said.

“After buying a Yamaha TD1C from Aussie legend Jack Findlay I rode in my first Manx Grand Prix in 1970, winning the Newcomers Award for fifth place in the Lightweight (250 cc) class.”

The following year he won the Lightweight Manx GP and moved up to the TT for 1972, where he scored five top-six finishes from six starts.

It was the beginning of an illustrious TT career that brought eight wins from 1973 to 1980, with his last TT start in 1984 when he finished second to Aussie Graeme McGregor.

Williams was recruited by Honda to partner his friend and near-neighbour John Williams (no relation) in the 1973 Spa 24 Hours Endurance race, scoring a first-up victory.

The Williams/Williams Honda pairing became a regular at major endurance events over the next three years, often riding experimental factory-supplied bikes.

In 1976 he was joined in the Honda Britain Team by another Cheshire lad, Stan Woods, and together they won the 1976 Barcelona 24 Hour Race, the 1977 Nurburgring 8 Hour and the Thruxton 1000 km.

1978 began with a win in the Zandvoort 6 Hour and ended with victory in the Brands Hatch 1000 km, going on to finish the year second in the Endurance World Championship.

1979 marked his first and so-far only trip to Australia to compete in the Advertiser Three Hour Race at Virginia Raceway on a Honda CB900, where he was teamed with local John Inkster.

At Broadford, Charlie will be riding the David Murray locally-built Honda RS1000 Endurance racer replica in an interesting throwback to his days in Honda colours in the gruelling and popular endurance events of the 1970s.

The 2012 Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza takes place at the State Motorcycle Complex in Broadford at Easter, 7-8 April.

For all the latest news and announcements ahead of the 2012 Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza be sure to check out the HBBB website at www.ma.org.au/hbbb.

I've heard strong rumors that Derek and Don Rickman are on the list for HBBB 2012. The promise of Jim Scaysbrook interviewing Ivan Mauger and Charlie Williams does absolutely nothing to attract me to the 'banquet' but if Derek and Don are keynote after dinner speakers I might just reconsider my self imposed boycott and give it another go.

Hey Freakshow, When you have a total of 15 World Speedway and Long Track Titles and an OBE MBE and in your 70's you can call Ivan Mauger boring!!! Until then have a bit more respect for this Legend of Speedway. And i have seen you ride and it isn't far off of boring!

HEY Dwane,

Unless you were at that meeting at Gillman and actually raced that night as i did, on both sidecars and solo and saw him in the pits and on the track, then you wouldnt have a forking clue about my opinion.   :-*

So next time before you google up some facts to post, how about sticking your opinion up that arse of yours..... i thought you were done with all your inbred farmboy bullshit.   ::)

Funny how it went from 9 world championships to your 15 in a single post, but i guess that makes it a little more dramatic for you too  ;)

Besides Seen you ride too mate...... nothing to get excited about there either......

<snip> breaches forum guidelines. Ivan won 6 Individual World Speedway Titles, 3 Individual Long Track Titles, 2 World Pairs Titles and 4 World Teams Title to make 15 World Titles. Thats the Number 15 came from.
