Final Round of the Mr Vintage NZ series 8
« on: April 17, 2011, 09:21:26 am »
It was a wet, misty day so I'm sorry about the quality of the photos but mud and rain on the lenses is just the same as on goggles. But everyone had a good day and Bill showed his true colours..... a 'greenie tree hugger'. Its just that the tree is now 1-0 KO, the golden gloves are held by the tree....  ;D

Great shots DJR. Whoever took them knows what they are doing with a camera!  The down hill muddy off camber corner looks like it would claim a few victims! Brings back the nostalgia of grass track mud races in the Waikato back on the farm! Where was the event? ;D ;D ;D

Vandy you are always welcome to come on over and have a race on tracks likes this. Bill needs a hurry up in the pre75 250 class and you could do that  ;)  ;D

That track is the only thing I've seen in the last twenty years to make me think of moving back to NZ!

I used to take tracks like that for granted

Given that we have more land per capita, why can't we put on a meet at a track like that?
Great photo's DJ.
Some names to numbers would be interesting, DR no88 for a start.
