HEAVEN EVO Challenge - Bulahdelah NSW
« on: August 06, 2007, 07:44:10 pm »
NSW's HEAVEN club will be holding their annual Evo Challenge at the Bulahdelah track north of Sydney over the weekend of October 20/21. This event is always a corker, held as it is on a fast natural terrain circuit that promises to be in top condition.

Visit the HEAVEN site for more information as it comes to hand:

I'm out, after last weekend's indiscretion. Yes, it was a piss-lame stuff up, but it's cost me time money before the Alpine - so something had to give. Unfortunately, it's the Evo Challenge. >:( :'(
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

All who went and Challenge was well awarded .
Numbers around the 70 odd .
Wheather was good with nice warm days and nigths .( compaired to Canberra )
Track was graded and smooth just needed a Little help from above with sum Rain.(Bloody climate Change )
so it got a bit dusty on the Saturday witch put all in a good party mod by needing a Cold  Beer or 4 to help the dust and a Good Roast Diner go down .
The same Old party tricks wear all still on .
Fernando Was out to get all Drank with sum think he whipped up in the sink at work and I was working on a few of  the faster Guys in My races ( Paul Gers , Ross Merrick , Mark ( Snowy ) Birkett  .

Sunday wake up 4 am Fernando starts up the Bloody Genarotar to watch the Foot Ball .
With Martin Russell was the only one going for the Poms he was doomed to cop Shit all day as they went down to the Spring Box .

With a site change to the Track to help with the dust saw a Truck load of helpers out to do the work.
and in fast time as all wear pumped to get out on the Fresh Green Grass .

This Good Thinking by the Brains of the Club saw Fast racing all day.

What a Good week end . It all ways make me sad on Mondays when I am at work and wish I was Back at Buulahdelah .

Thanks You to all that put a Top week end on .
A Big Thank you to Kell and Narelle More for a Lot of Hard unseen work that goes into a weed end like this .
A Big thanks to Glen pickering once more for all the Hard Unseen Work.
A Big thanks to all the Flag people who sat in the Hot sun  as we all had fun in the Challenge Races.
and if I miss you well a Big thanks to you too .

Great weekend and well run event again although still picking dust out of every orifice :D the heat seemed to take its toll on a few bikes with a few bikes pinging no matter how many jets were changed, even a few seizures, great to see a big lineup of four strokes on the grid with a few new guys (sorry didnt see your numbers) who were going hard on there XR's, lots of new and old, different faces, Supertrack seemed to be working well with the modifications, good numbers for the event made for a great weekend, KTMs everywhere with Snowy now converted to the dark side, Fernando riding like a man possessed, Martin Russell pushing big Maico hard was good to watch,  top catered meal polished off with a few mixtures of brews on Saturday night, just dont get any better 8)

Good to hear that a good time was had in both Wagga and  Bulahdelah, Big thanks to Bill Campbell for lending me his KTM MC5 so I could salvage a few points in the pre 78 class, after major gear box malfunction in the Husky. Had a absolute blast in the 125 class on the $450 Cr125re, Good racing ,Top weekend
