Modern day classics

What do you suppose is going to be a collectable classic 10, 15 – 20 years from now? For me it’s my much loved BMW G 450X, only survived a few years but at least it was a different bike in its short life!

I reckon the 1998 YZ400F as much as they have changed motocross -some say for the worse,its the first modern four stroke.

I also reckon it'll be the '98 YZF400.. i had one and they really were the beginning of a new era in MX.

I think the late 90's Husaberg's.....afterall thats what Yamaha copied....they'ill be like the funky Euro stuff from the late 60's/70's....and when everyones riding there modern 6 stroke 300cc bikes they'll shit themselves when they see a 600 Berg or Husky go wizzing by......faarrk...did you see that...a full 600cc running on that enviromentaly unfriendly petrol stuff.....How the hell do they start those things with that little arm and it hasnt even got EFI.

Not only the 98 YZ400 F,the start of the new era 4t's,but the last (for now at least) of the 250 2t's that they replaced, the CR/RM/KX 250's & whilst were at it why not add the lost 125's to the list that were made redundant by the YZ250F which was another milestone bike,but not as ground breaking as it's big bro

Funny I was just going to mention the Vertemati, are you grabbing it... Italian CCM only better as they also built the engine. Plus I am hearing what people are saying about Husaberg, one featured in Crusty Demons so it will get icon status. Plus the 500 2 strokes they just will just never make them again like that.
