Photos of a race of classics in Spain
« on: April 07, 2011, 05:48:48 am »
Some pictures of a race here in Spain for classics. We have almost every weekend these races throughout the country. Bikes are classified into 3 categories:

- Pre-1976
- Pre-1984
- Twin shock

Race included 2 parts, with 15 laps each.

Here one Cappra 414 VF. This bike did not participate in the race.

Here another Cappra 414 VF after the warning laps. This bike ended up wining the race, overcoming to all, even to some Yamaha´s 465 and Honda´s 500 CR that also participated.

Here other bikes.

Here the green light!

And here the winner during the race with his impressive Cappra 414 VF, cheering to the attendance.

Regards,
Jurado

Most importantly how many HL500s. I mean they have to have a bit on every thread, right ::) How many four strokes or odd engines jammed into different frames  :o

Sorry couln't help myself I shall subject myself to setting up the shims in several Monty gearboxs as punishment  ;D ;D

Yes the owner of that  ??? colourful Monty must have been on a back acid trip :D

Are both the yellow Monty's VF's? One has laid down shocks, would that be a VG?
Great looking track 8)

You really should own at least one Cappra John. Spot on! The first one with the laid down shocks would most probably be a converted H7 enduro. The second one (No 34b) is the real VF 414.......

I really like the look of the VG and i'd imagine it'd be nice to ride.
I've got a Bultaco in the shed so i guess a Monty wouldn't be too lonely in there ;)

Ross I've got no doubt whatsoever that Montesas are good bikes and for the life of me can't recall anybody knocking them on here. Maybe it was one of those disappearing threads that was gone before I got to read it? ??? When you say "all you knockers" you make it sound like there's a team of evil Montesa haters out there dedicating their lives to besmirching the great brand. ;D

I think there might be a little Montesa trawling here and there.  Probably to balance out the HL trawling.
