thanks Nobby the Wassell and YZ125 have been listed a few times now.Not sure if it is a Wassell or just an all round British bike tank ?

That tank is a Hi-Point or Lyta. They were made in the UK by Lyta but sold in the US as Hi-Point. I've got one on my Ducati and another in the stash waiting for a suitable project. He's forgotten his meds if he thinks he can get that kind of dough. Jonesy bought one on eBay the other day for $200 or so. Granted. the prices on alloy tanks has gone up but if you're sharp you can find them for a third of what that goober's asking.

The guy will take offers...I bought a 1979CR125 alloy tank off him for $150 and it was mint. Very good to deal with.
