Hi, up for sale is a 1984 KTM 500GS, it was aquired as a basket case some time ago and now with other things more pressing, I think its time to let some one else finish it off,
Various parts have been given some attention,
The frame was striped and repainted.
Fork Staunchions rechromed and new seals fitted.
The Ohlins remote reservoir shock servicer by Steve Cramer, need the nitrogen pressure checked and the Spring was repainted.
The engine Side Cases and Timing Cover Powder coated, black.
It has twin leading shoe brakes front and rear, the backing plates were powder coater, black.
The seat has been recovered, blue, similar to original.
Over $ 700.00 worth of new parts purchased, including a new con rod.
There is also a Frame parts Book, Engine Parts Book and Photo Copy of Owners Manual.
I also had a Billet Clutch Basket made and an Alloy Dipstick with Cooling Fins.
The Exhaust is in non usable state.
As it was a basket case when i aquired it I am not sure if everything is there, however I tried to acertain what parts were missing and aquire them, but you just don't know until you start finishing it off.
Mainly looking for a keen member who would like a half finished project to finish off, I'm ask in $2000 ono.
