KX 74-75-76 vs KE 75 -76 (125)
« on: March 28, 2011, 11:11:38 pm »
Can some one tell me if there is a differance between the KX125 and the KE125 cables ?
particularly around rear brake cable ( hub/pedal), front brake cable, throttle, clutch looks the same.

also is the KS125 - 73,74,75 seems to be the early KE is that similar too ?

# TMbill do you have any used KE 125 stuff over there you can try ?

Clutch and Fr brake cables appear the same , rear brake cable is different and wont work , TS one will be a bit short but RM 125 S / A / B should work  :)
KE throttle cable is a short one that goes into a spliter to the carb and oil pump so wont work either  :(

Freaky yep i got a pipe you can have just pay postage . However i think you would be better off with a proper chamber as the KE pipe is a traily pipe and wont give great performance  ;)

Does Geoffrey make one ? Lozza made a great little pipe for Kens 125 (whitch incindentley would have to be the coolest KX125 A on the planet  8) 8) 8) ) so maybe hit the big guy up.

Im currently experimenting with externally mounted bigger carbs (ala Skunk works design ) on my KX 125 and an institute pipe could be the go on that baby  ;)

If you want the KE pipe let me know but the postage is probably better invested in a chamber  ;)

your freaking out Kerry
just get the thing to the track, ride it and tweak it when you get home.
Pipe from KX will not fit, has to be a left port KE? which is the barrel your using.
Pin and rings are here, motor will be built this weekend

as far as i know the only thing that will fit in the next 5 weeks ? Stewy is busy and i thought it was the only thing that was going to bolt up.  Happy if anyone wants to step up and modify a chamber so it can bolt up.

Can probally even find you an under slung TM125 pipe here i can send you, so can use it to MOd, if anyone up that way wants to give it a go  ????
Firko,  Dave and stewy are already doing a lot of pissing about on my behalf, and i dont want to burn out the freindship.   i cant get to the bike before the nats, so im just sending up anything i can to get it to run, anything else is a bonus.
I have never seen the bike so i havent got a clue, its like bomb disposal with a robot, and i have never even seen a kawasak,i so its all new to me and foreign

IF anyone wants to come on board for the 'progect freaky to the nats' we would love any extra help.....
