Jim,

Looks like the 1st set are 22-28lbs/in progressive wound
2nd set 20lb/in straight/linear wound
3rd set 23 lb/in straight

Mate I wouldn't waste your money and time with NOS betor fork springs they were very ordinary the first time round and cannot even be compared to buying some modern springs from any of the current suppliers.

I thought all Beter stuff would have been metric not in pounds but happy to be corrected.

Just going through the same thing with my VR Monty forks. Les at Mainly Maico is procuring some nice modern 'proper' springs for my weight  ::) and riding level (or lack there of). I’m expecting a major improvement over the originals frm past experience.

Can someone help with a source for fork springs for my MK6-7 Pursang ( I believe they are the same forks) I weigh 95 kg clothed for battle. I am of exceedingly average ability and will also have a set of YSS fork valves fitted. Cheers Jerry

Have just had the exact same job done on my 35mm forks for my VR250 Monty (Betors). Les at Mainly Maico (VMX Unlimited) sourced the springs. You appear to be the perfect weight for your height ;D same as me ;). Phone Les on 0249817241 or I am sure that YSS or any of the other Suspension guys can also help out.
