Is it way too small? A bit of work with the heat gun or hot water could soften it enough to fit if it's close. Maybe some rubber friendly grease as well.

We had a light shower around 10 -11am, but as said earlier, there hasn't been any rain since cd8. The water truck was going around today and the sprinklers were running flat out. As Russell said, should be perfect.

We were at the track today, great turnout, some great looking bikes, great people & the weather gods smiled upon us, but on the down side, there were a couple of injuries requiring transportation to hospital, we wish those injured a speedy recovery. Wont be there for the conclusion of the Sunday event, but sure there will be plenty others from this forum who will add concluding feedback.

Thanks to all those involved in organising this great event.

Just spoke to Wayne Skyring who was one of the guys carted off by the ambo's. Pretty good news relatively, busted ribs, sore shoulder and leg. Sore but should be ok given a week or two. Great weekend, great weather as it turned out. Great event, well put together guys, I had a ball.

A special thanks to all involved in putting this  memorable event together, without you it would not have been possible. Younger Bro had a ball and said he will be back next year.
As usual the side car boys put on a brilliant display  ;D

A great weekend had by the sidecar teams with 8 turning up and 7 making it all the way on saturday and 8 today.
Track was very muddy saturday morning for practise and then fantastic for the rest of the racing.
Jamie McMurdo and Wayne Hollaway taking the 1st prize on their development outfit with the 650 GR motor closely followed by David Mattock and Matt Malloney (in the chair for the first time in a while) making the long trip from Moranbah and then my old Wasp 650 with Adam Laman and David Rotherum in 3rd.
Popeye had a shocker on saturday when the EML Yamaha 998 failed in practise (no spark again) and then taking the line with the spare DR500 with Marshall only to have the passenger bar fail.
After almost two years and lots of dollars spent it was decided on sat night to fit a set of points back in the big girl for sunday in a move that saw them lead the sunday final by a good streak only to have a footpeg fail with 1/4 of a lap to go that let a bad starting and fast finishing McMurdo/Hollaway take the clean sweep.
Nick and Isaac Higgs did well on the Norton to stick close to the leaders but after not riding for some months as Nick has been working in PNG, their race fitness was their nemisis.
So as I said a great weekend and a big thanks to QVMX for allowing the outfits to join in on their annual Classic race weekend.
